About the Role:

NewtonX’s Strategic Insights & Analytics team deliver high-impact research projects to help our clients uncover insights to answer their toughest and most critical business questions. We are looking for a Strategic Insights & Analytics Manager who is motivated and excited by the idea of making a difference in the knowledge market. This role is instrumental in building out NewtonX’s professional services capabilities - you will help shape the future of this offering.

 

The Strategic Insights & Analytics Manager works with world-class companies and clients, including multiple Fortune 500 companies as well as top tech, private equity, and management consulting companies, to understand their needs and deliver high-impact research projects to help them uncover insights to answer their toughest business questions.

 

In this role you will:

  • Disrupt expert research the way Uber disrupted the taxi industry, the way AirBnB... - you know what we mean

  • Understand client end-goals and research objectives, develop research plans, and develop interview guides and/or surveys that address client needs to make better business decisions

  • Moderate interviews, analyze survey results, prepare and present visually-strong reports that synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Manage and oversee consultant contractors working on client engagements.

  • Aid in driving revenue generation from new and existing partners

  • Prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with clients and experts covering all imaginable sectors of expertise, geographies, etc.


Who you are: 

  • 3 - 10 years of professional work experience.

  • Are a former management consultant from a top tier consulting firm, or a former research professional at a leading market research company (i.e., background in market research and specific familiarity with quantitative surveys and insights - experience with methodologies such as conjoint, MaxDiff, or pricing analysis is strongly preferred).

  • Proficient in survey design and turning data into insights and actionable recommendations

  • You love challenging the status quo.

  • You communicate clearly, write well, succinctly and effectively.

  • You enjoy working independently and efficiently with minimal direction and under pressure.

  • A strong client service orientation; confidence, professional and pleasant style, and a can-do attitude to deliver great service. 

  • You enjoy learning, team collaboration, communication, listening and advocating.

  • Have a bachelor's degree or greater in a relevant field of study.
