About the role: 

Our Client Partnerships Managers support our rapid growth, and connect NewtonX clients to world-leading professionals. We are looking for a motivated person who is excited by the idea of making a difference in the knowledge market.


The Client Partnerships team at NewtonX works with world class companies and clients, including multiple Fortune 500 companies as well as top tech and management consulting companies, to understand their needs and deliver high impact research projects to help them uncover insights to answer their toughest business questions. We need an action-oriented leader to manage our client-facing teams in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment.


In this role, you will:

  • Disrupt expert research the way Uber disrupted the taxi industry, the way AirBnB... - you know what we mean

  • Own a top notch client book with full revenue ownership, identifying upselling and cross selling opportunities in existing client relationships

  • Build out strategic account plans to increase our footprint within client organizations 

  • Understand client needs and challenges, and own client relationships (ranging from Manager-level to C-Suite) to ensure continued engagement, success, and retention

  • Act as the quarterback of the client account: Own cross-functional relationships with Marketing leadership to get the best content into the hands of clients and with Client Delivery leadership to plan and ensure seamless kick off of research engagements

  • Review team quotes and build proposals for contracts and projects from $10K to $500K+, ensuring brand stewardship and quality translation of NewtonX technology into actionable project plans

  • Help to design and develop scalable processes and tools that make the team more effective and efficient

  • Lead a team of rockstars, helping to grow and develop a team of 1-2 Associates

  • Learn new things (new technologies, industries, topics daily), while mentoring and empowering your team members

Ultimately, you will be driving a critical component of the company; being a consultative and strategic partner with our clients to bring the best insights in the market to them. You will also get to be a leader on the Client Partnership team, helping to develop the team culture and support our rapid team growth, while being an innovator in further refining how we operate. 


Who you are:

  • 6+ years of consultative, B2B sales experience, preferably within the market research industry.  

  • Preferred experience selling into consulting, financial services or technology verticals. 

  • Experience selling to the C-suite.

  • Proven track record of account expansion and quota over achievement.

  • Strong executive presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • A rigorous sales process, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

  • Natural curiosity and a desire to learn and be coached. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • You enjoy team collaboration, communication, listening, and advocating.

  • A strong client service orientation; confidence, professional and pleasant style, and a can-do attitude to deliver great service.

  • Bachelor's degree or greater in relevant field of study.
